The team are shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Jessi Combs who was conducting trials on the Alvord Desert, USA in the North American Eagle jet powered car.

Safety has always been at the forefront of Bloodhound’s design. Tragic accidents like this highlight the danger of pushing the boundaries and the limits of technology. Consequently, we will review our procedures and protocols ahead of our high speed testing in South Africa commencing in October.
